The Menehune concept

This business is inspired by Polynesian heritage and its concepts of ancient beliefs and traditions. The name Menehune Construction Concepts tips the hat to an ancestral race of people known as the Menehune. Though up for debate by western science, ancient Hawaiians acknowledge the existence of Menehune as a people AND their presence in Hawaii before Hawaiian settlement. The Menehune are said to have abilities beyond the capabilities of man but due to their lesser stature, Hawaiians banished the Menehune to the mountains to never interact with the general Polynesian population. Menehune would be called upon to construct massive projects for the Hawaiians in trade for their favorite food the Opae (an endemic fresh water shrimp).  They would descend from the mountains in the night and erect massive projects before sunrise the next morning as to not interact with the locals. Many of these engineering monuments stand till today and are the spur of many legends and mystery about ancient Hawaii.

My concept of construction ties to this story because of the excellence I strive for in creativity, execution and presentation. With these qualities as the backbone of service, I take pride in producing finished products that show attention to detail with broad and successful problem solving/decision making. The idea that our ancient ancestors could produce such incredible monuments are a testament to the old world and is the inspiration I use to help people bring their ideas to life.
